Northwest Forest Conservancy

A non-profit, 501(c)3, public benefit corporation dedicated to the protection,restoration, education, and responsible management of the forest, all it contains, and all the lands and waters it influences.

Programs & Projects

The primary program NFC is currently focusing on is a partnership with Bagby Preservation
and the US Forest Service to organize volunteer events for Bagby Hot Springs. Visit Friends of

Historic Preservation

A multi-faceted effort to protect and restore historic sites in the forests, and educate the public about the history of these sites and the forest.

Wilderness Trails

Focused on the overlooked, hard to reach, Bull of the Woods (BotW)Wilderness area of Clackamas County, in Mt Hood National Forest.
